Let the entertainment begin! The 2024 White rock Buskers and comedy Festival, presented by Grant Residential group, is set to fill the streets of White Rock with music, entertainment and festivity on June 14thand 15th

The BUSKING side of this year’s festival will be held on June 15th, and will feature performs located at FOUR stages spread across the Uptown and Five Corners neighbourhoods of White Rock, along with roving performers throughout the town. The best part is that all of the busker performances are completely FREE to enjoy!

The COMEDY segment will take place with four seating at two marvelous White Rock Venues, the Islands Café, and Blue Frog Studios. Each venue will feature a lineup of three fabulous performers, and each venue will have both an early and a late showing, so there is something for everyone!!

Just like we did with the recent Jazz & Blues festival, we’ve put together and essential guide to help you and your family make the most of your day (or two!) at the festival, and enjoy all of the wonderful spots that the City by the Sea has to offer.

FIVE CORNERS & LAURA’S COFFEE CORNER

We’ve got two stages located along Pacific Avenue, one located right in the heart of the Five Corners Neighbourhood by the intersection (Pacific Ave and Johnston Rd), and the other outside of White Rock favourite, Laura’s Coffee Corner (15259 Pacific Ave)

As you wander back and forth between these two stages, which are located less than 200 meters apart, enjoy a latte or a bite to eat at one of these wonderful local businesses:

  • Damiano’s Pizza and Pasta: Pick up a pizza to enjoy at one of the picnic benches located near the Five Corners stage from Damiano’s! View their full menu of delicious options here: https://damianospizza.ca/pdf/damianos-menu.pdf
  • Clancy’s Tea Cosy: Who doesn’t love a spot of afternoon tea! For a classic meal of tea and cakes, book your reservation at Clancy’s. Located directly between our two Southern stages, this is a perfect choice to add to your afternoon. Visit their website here: http://www.clancysteacosy.com
  • Five Corners Vietnamese: Sometime a warm bowl of Pho just hits the spot! Five Corners Vietnamese is a great option to visit for lunch during the festival, or for a quick dinner before one of the evening comedy shows.
