Thrifty Foods grocery store has just opened in White Rock! Located right on Miramar Plaza in Uptown, this grocery store has all the essentials, plus a number of luxurious features that go above and beyond your regular grocery store.

EXCITING FEATURES:

This new location will feature several exciting features.

Of course, there will be all your staple grocery needs, including:

·       BC produce,

·       Sustainable seafood options,

·       And bakery goods made from scratch in-store

But wait, there’s more! Thrifty Foods is pleased to offer a selection of specialty features, such as:

  • A juice and smoothie bar,

  • In-house sushi chef,
  • and custom-made cakes!

There is plenty of parking nearby, with 90 free minutes in the Thrift Avenue parkade for all shoppers (read more on that below). The store is also located conveniently close to the bus routes, with the closest stop for the 321 and 342 lines only steps from the front door.

COMMUNITY:

As one of several great businesses located in the Miramar Plaza, Thrifty’s looks forward to participating in ongoing events and engagement with the community. This area provides a few great opportunities to pick up your groceries while doing your other favorite White Rock activities!

Take a yoga class at Westcoast Hot Yoga or enjoy happy hour at 3 Dogs Brewing. On Sundays, you can also pop by the farmers market (which just started up for the season) from 10am to 2pm, and then stop by Thrifty Foods to pick up the rest of your list.

Thrifty Foods  also has a great promotion coming up for Father’s Day. On June 15th, which is the Saturday before Father’s Day, you can pop by the store and decorate a brownie!

May we suggest that this activity is a great addition to your day spent at the Buskers & Comedy Festival? 😉More info on there here: https://whiterockbia.com/white-rock-buskers-comedy-festival/

PARKING:

Thrifty’s offers 90 minutes of free parking once per day to anyone shopping in the store. All you have to do is register your license plate at the parking meter and you can park free of charge! If you need a bit more time or want to visit some of the other great businesses in the Miramar Plaza, you can add however much time you need to your parking ticket.

The parkade can be accesses off of Thrift Avenue, and has both escalators and elevators up to the store level, so is accessible for those with mobility needs or full shopping carts.
