      September 30 is the National Day for Truth and Rec September 30 is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. This day honours the children who never returned home and Survivors of residential schools, as well as their families and communities. Tomorrow, Saturday September 30 at 11 am, we hope you will join Semiahmoo First Nation for the 3rd annual Walk for Truth & Reconciliation beginning near Grand Chief Bernard Robert Charles Memorial Plaza and ending at Semiahmoo Park. Even if you are unable to attend the Walk for Truth & Reconciliation, we hope you will take the time to learn and reflect on the tragic and painful history and ongoing impacts of residential schools- as educating ourselves is an important part of the ongoing process of reconciliation. We are very grateful to live and work on the unceded traditional territories of the Semiahmoo First Nation.
