My name is Tajinder (TJ) S. Rai, and I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (#12272) and a member in good standing with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC). I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Brandon University, my Bachelor of Education from Simon Fraser University, and my Masters of Counselling from Athabasca University. I have also completed additional training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). My background includes over 10 years of experience working with clients in various settings. This includes working with adults, children, youth, and families in a variety of settings including schools, non-profit organizations, and community mental health clinics. I have worked extensively with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, anger, and relationship issues. I continuously engage in ongoing professional development to ensure that my skills and practice are effective and current. These experiences allow me to develop a unique set of skills, and clinical expertise to work with children, youth, and their families.
Hi, My name is Shelley Coates, RTC, MTC. I am a couples therapist who helps couples have the best relationship possible. I also help individuals heal past relationship pain and negative patterns that prevent them from creating the relationship that they want.
I aim to establish a trusting, compassionate and non-judgmental relationship with you – all therapist qualities that have been shown in the counselling research to be the most important in helping people grow and change.
I am trained in some of the most effective therapy techniques available today including the Developmental Model of Couples Therapy, which helps couples support each other and deepen their connection to each other.
Adrienne Johnson is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors, and a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. She sees clients in her office in White Rock.
Adrienne has worked for nearly a decade in a variety of helping roles, including as a family counsellor, seniors’ counsellor, spiritual director, domestic violence support worker, and hospital chaplain trainee, working with both individuals and couples. Adrienne received her MA in Counselling Psychology from the University of British Columbia, and her Master of Divinity from the Vancouver School of Theology. Adrienne also completed a Graduate Diploma in Spiritual Direction. She brings this diverse background and experience to her current work helping clients make positive changes in their lives.
